Keene High School Scholarship Newsletter

The following scholarships are listed by the month in which the applications are due.  Please note that this newsletter will be updated every month and scholarship opportunities for upcoming months will be added.  Scholarship applications are available in the Main Guidance Office and/or online.  Please see your school counselor for more information.



National Society Daughters of the American Revolution

  • The NSDAR awards multiple scholarships for students studying: Political Science, History, Government, Nursing, Medical

Skrungloo Farm Student Aid Program

  • Must be a legal resident of the United States, residing in NH
  • Must demonstrate financial need, academic merit, community service, school activities and work experience
  • Students must be enrolling at an accredited post-secondary institution, vocational school, technical school, a 2 or 4-year college or university.  The school may be in-state or out-of-state.

The Gallery Collection

  • Students must design a greeting card for the chance to win a $10,000 scholarship
  • One entry per person; Entry will be made into a greeting card

SAE Engineering Scholarship

  • Several scholarships for students interested in the study of engineering and the related sciences
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Overall GPA of 3.75
  • Scholarships range from $1,500 to $5,000

New Hampshire Association of Septage Haulers Memorial Scholarship

  • Open to high school student applying to college (2 year or 4 year college or trade school)
  • Eligibility must include any immediate family of a NASH member or a student pursuing a degree in Environmental Science
  • Based on financial need, academic merit and other non academic factors such as work experience, community service, sports, clubs or activities

Julia T. Pingree Student Scholarship

  • Applicant is pursuing further education in a business related program
  • Must be a high school senior
  • Write a 500 words or less essay, “What aspirations do you have for a business career?”

New Hampshire Water Pollution Control Association Scholarship

  • $1,000 is awarded to a student enrolled in a New Hampshire college pursuing a degree in Water Pollution Control, Environmental Science, or Civil Engineering
  • Must be a resident of New Hampshire

The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund

  • Scholarship offers renewable, four-year scholarships to students with financial need who display academic achievement, a commitment to serving others (in school, community or at home), a strong work ethic, leadership qualities
  • Applicants must be permanent residents of New England but may attend college anywhere in the US
  • Must be US citizen, and a high school senior
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale

New Hampshire Charitable Foundation

  • Single online application that automatically matches students to scholarship opportunities
  • Awards available for four-year, two-year and certificate programs
  • Will award over $5 million to 1,500 NH students

Hope Starts Here Scholarship

  • Applicant must be under the age of 21 prior to the application due date
  • Applicant must be currently residing in New Hampshire at the time of applying for the scholarship
  • Applicant must be actively pursuing post secondary education
  • Applicant must be homeless or have been homeless at any time during their school attendance

Fisher Cats Foundation Scholarship

  • Must be residents of NH graduating from high school in 2018
  • Must be planning on enrolling in a four-year degree program or planning to attend a community college or technical school
  • Applications based on academic performance; athletic achievement and citizenship
  • Ten scholarships, each in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded to NH residents

Albert Quigley Scholarship Fund

  • $1,000 to a student pursing studies in a visual art, including animation, graphic arts, printmaking, photography, drawing and painting or interior design
