Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps – JROTC

Do you enjoy organizing, planning, and leading group activities? Do you like participating as a volunteer in community service events? Do you enjoy challenging yourself, both physically and mentally, as part of a team? Consider joining the JROTC. As a JROTC student, your team-focused, activity-based, learning experiences will enable you to develop and demonstrate the fundamental leadership knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to succeed in school, in the community, and in life. JROTC is a high school program, sponsored by the US Army, which is designed for all students, whether they intend to pursue a military career. Its mission is to motivate young people to become better citizens and responsible members of a team and their community.
 
You will learn communication skills, citizenship, community service, critical thinking and problem solving, leadership. You can earn service-learning experience. Your career pathways (with additional education and training) include Military Service, Community Development, Government Service, and Business Management.
