Manufacturing

The Advanced Manufacturing program at the CCC is for students with a passion for creating and problem solving.
 
As a Manufacturing student, you will be introduced to computer-integrated, precision manufacturing and CNC machining. This hands-on, project-based learning takes place in our fully equipped machine shop, where You will learn to safely use a variety of precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tapes. You will also learn how to set up and safely operate drill presses, grinders, milling machines, and lathes. Using CAD/CAM technologies, you will learn how to draw, plan, and manufacture your own unique finished product!
 
Students in this program learn OSHA and industry safety standards, using precision measurement instruments, designing, and reading blueprints, working with computer assisted design (CAD) and computer assisted manufacturing (CAM) as well as CNC coding.
 
You can earn Work Based Learning experience, college credits, Skills USA, SME Membership.
Career pathways (with additional education and training) include Manufacturing Technician, Manufacturing Engineer, Manufacturing Supervisor, CNC Machinist, CNC Mill Operator and CNC Setup and Operator.
