Are you the “go-to person” in your family when it comes to setting up the computer and making sure everything works properly? If so, consider taking our Computer Networking class. You will learn how to design, build, and connect hardware to manage and maintain an efficient and secure IT communications system. Working in our fully networked classroom, your hands-on learning experience will enable you to assess and evaluate networking environments, install, and configure hardware, and use TCP/IP troubleshooting practices to ensure that the network’s connectivity is functional, efficient, and secure.
 
You will learn networking infrastructure, layout and design, hardware installation and troubleshooting, cyber security principles and practices, ethical hacking and penetration testing strategies.

You can earn Work Based Learning experience, college credits, Skills USA, Industry Recognized Credentials (CompTIA A+, Cisco Certified Network Administrator I exam, Cisco Certified Entry Level Network Technician). Your career pathways (with additional education and training) include IT Network Installation and Service Technician, Data Recovery Technician, Network Design Technician, Network Security Engineer, Network Manager.
