Animal Science
In the Fall Mountain Animal Science program, students learn a great deal about large animals including cattle, horses, sheep, swine, and goats in a production industry.
If you are a student who loves feeding, cleaning, and working with both large and small farm animals, then you should enroll in the Fall Mountain Animal Science program. As an Animal Science student, you will experience hands-on learning by working with the animals in the barn. Fall Mountain Regional High School will enable you to develop and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to successfully enter the animal science and management field. You will learn how to safely manage animals and will study anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and reproduction.
Examples of potential career pathways with additional education and training include: Veterinarian, Veterinarian Technician, Stable Manager, Livestock Buyer, or Quality Control Inspector.
