CCC Automotive Mechanics

Automotive Technology offers students an opportunity to learn the technical and mechanical systems of the automotive service industry.

Do you love getting your hands dirty while working under the hood of your car or tinkering with your ATV or dirt bike? If so, sign up for our Automotive Service Technology program. You will learn how to apply industry concepts, techniques, and procedures to diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide range of cars, trucks, and recreational vehicles. Using state-of-the-art tools and equipment in our full service 10-bay garage, your hands-on learning experiences will enable you to develop and demonstrate the entry level skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to enter the automotive service field.

The students in our Automotive program learn computerized diagnostic testing, suspension & steering systems, carrying out vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance, transmission & braking systems, and OSHA & environmental safety procedures.


In addition to the work-based learning experience, they can earn college credits, NHADA Recognition, Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification and Snap-On Meter certification.

Your career pathway (with additional education and training): Automotive Service Technician, NASCAR Pit Crew Member, Automotive Service Manager, Auto Parts Sales Rep, Military Wheeled Vehicle Maintenance Tech.
