Careers in Education

Have you thought about becoming a teacher? Counselor? Speech and language Pathologist? Are you interested in working with students? Develop the skills to prepare for a career working with children and preparing for post-secondary education by taking part in our Careers in Education Program.

You will learn about child & adolescent development, educational theories, classroom management strategies, lesson planning, instructional methods & assessments, as well as professional, legal, & ethical standards of behavior.

You can earn Work-Based-Learning experience, college credits, and receive an Educators Rising membership. Upon successful completion of our two year program students leave with a professional portfolio.

Your career pathways (with additional education and training) include Early Childhood Educator, Pre-K-12 Classroom Teacher, Special Education Teacher, Child Psychologist, Speech and Language Pathologist, School Counselor and many more!
