If you’ve ever dreamed of becoming a chef or running your own restaurant, then consider signing up for our Culinary Arts program. You will get the opportunity to develop and demonstrate your food preparation and restaurant management knowledge, skills, and attitudes while working and learning in The Cheshire Room Restaurant. The fast-paced, team-oriented, and hands-on learning experiences will provide you with a solid working knowledge of selecting, purchasing, preparing, and serving high quality and nutritious food products for a wide range of customers.

You will learn safe food handling, USDA nutrition guidelines, professional equipment, food preparation and storage, menu planning and preparation, and catering management.
In this program, the students earn work-based learning experience, college credits and ServSafe Certification Skills. Career pathways with additional education and training cover a wide range, including Food Service Director, Nutritionist, Restaurant Manager, Caterer, Dietitian, or Chef.
