Keene High School Visual and Performing Arts Department 2020 NH Scholastic Art Awards

Keene High School visual art students participated in the annual NH Scholastic Art Awards competition again this year. The Visual and Performing Arts Department has always had strong participation in this competition, and is always proud of their students’ regional achievements. This year’s adjudication process took place on January 5th and 6th at Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH. Retired art teachers, college art professors, and professional artists from all over New England performed the judging tasks. All recognized artwork (Gold Key–Silver Key–Honorable Mention) will be on display at Pinkerton Academy in the Stockbridge Theatre from January 21st to February 16th. Gold Key awarded artworks will continue on to represent the state of New Hampshire at the National Scholastic Art Awards competition in New York City.  The national adjudication occurs in March, and the results will be announced some time in April.
